Training Programme

My highly organised training programme is a bit of a joke with my Tai Chi family …. I suppose their training is more spontaneous.  I find having a structured approach works for me so I systematically follow a routine. Of course I do let go of it if I need to rest or just do something different.  My daily training is two sessions of around 1.5 hours in the morning and 0.5 hour in the evening.  Morning is forms/exercises and evening is standing qigong. My morning routine is:

Monday

10 mins: Shaking and Breathing

30 mins: Warm-ups either… Taoist Relaxation Exercises, or Super-Fitness Exercises or Fast Breathing Exercises

20 mins: 6 squats

30 mins: Golden Flower Long Form

Tuesday 1

10 mins: Shaking and Breathing

50 mins: Super-Fitness Exercises

30 mins: Bagua Linking Palm Form

Wed

10 mins: Shaking and Breathing

30 mins: Warm-ups either… Taoist Relaxation Exercises, or Super-Fitness Exercises or Fast Breathing Exercises

20 mins: 6 squats

30 mins: Golden Flower Long Form

Thurs 1

10 mins: Shaking and Breathing

40 mins: Sword Preparation Exercises

20 mins: Sword Form

20 mins: Eight Leg Exercises

Friday

10 mins: Shaking and Breathing

30 mins: Large Circle Preparation Exercises

40 mins: Golden Flower Large Circle Form

Sat

30 mins: Running

45 mins: Staff exercises with weight bar

25 mins: Golden Flower Long Form

Sun

5 mins: Shaking and Breathing

10 mins: Box squats and wall squats

60 mins: Kettle Bell Workout

15 mins: Golden Flower Long Form

Tues 2

10 mins: Shaking and Breathing

40 mins: Fast Form Warms Up  and Fa-Jing Exercises

40 mins: Fast Form

Thurs 2

10 mins: Shaking and Breathing

20 mins: Hsing-Yi Warm Up Exercises

40 mins: Hsing-Yi 5 Elements Forms and Link Set

20 mins: Eight Leg Exercises

Friday 2

10 mins: Shaking and Breathing

30 mins: Fast Form Exercise and Fa-Jing Set

30 mins: Golden Flower Fast Form

Tues 3

10 mins: Shaking and Breathing

60 mins:  Bagua Floor Exercises

20 mins: Eight Leg Exercises

Thurs 3

10 mins: Shaking and Breathing

40 mins:  Bagua Preparation Exercises

20 mins Bagua Linking Palm Form

Tues 4

10 mins: Shaking and Breathing

20 mins: Hsing-Yi Warm-Up Exercises

60 mins:  Hsing-Yi 12 Animal Forms

20 mins: Shaolin Warm Up Set
